Hi all!
I've been commissioned to make a small scale wedding cake to celebrate my hubby's grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary. They've given me their wedding topper from 60 years ago!!!!! The bottom of it is almost falling apart and I'm concerned about protecting it. I thought about plastic wrap, but I don't know how to do that without it showing??? Suggestions welcome!!!! icon_biggrin.gif

Depending on your design you could put a good amount of fondant under the topper. This would be strong enough for the topper and protect the cake. I use this for flowers some times.
