This site is so informative. I never knew all of the legalities for this business......how do I find out the legalities specific to my state? I am from CT. This is all so interesting to me.
Thanks in advance...

You'll want to call your health dept. Here's CT code/regulations for operating a bakery (home bakery included).

Whoa!
Well, I will stick with my hobby!!! hahah!!!! My mother had suggested that i start selling cakes, I will have to show her all of the requirements...she will then be quiet! haha! Whoa! I am still amazed! How many people actually adhere to these? Or even know about these? My sister used to buy cakes from a woman down the street...wonder if she was a legal business? This is all so interesting to me!
I didn't even finish reading all of the requirements!
It seems easier to get a daycare license than to sell cakes...hmm...dont know if that is a good thing or not?
once again, thanks for all the info!
