I'm looking for a thread or something to explain how all of you make those adorable buttons on the baby shower cakes! I've searched and nothing!

I just roll some fondant into a ball then use the flat part of the (wooden wilton fondant ) roller to squish the ball flat then take narrow end of a #2 tip to cut out the button holes.

I rolled out the fondant about 1/4" in thickness, used a wilton tip to cut out the large circle, and then a dowel rod to indent the inner circle. I then used the #2 wilton tip to cut the inner holes.
