does anyone have any tips for torting a character cake? I want to put a filling in the middle.
After reading the instructions on the character pan, it sound like it's tricky just to take the cake out of the pan!
Will I crush the top if I level off the bottom?
Any help will be appreciated.
Well, I did it!
I ended up torting the cake with the top layer higher than the bottom layer. I used a cake board covered in aluminum foil and slid the top layer on to it. Then, after adding the strawberry filling, I slid the top layer onto the cake without any problems and no breakage!
