Is there somewhere you can buy items for cake baking and decorating by the bulk at reasonable prices? (Like, flour, sugar, fondant, gumpaste, flavoring, etc.) I am starting to get more cake orders and would like to buy in bulk to save in cost. Thank you.

For flour, sugar. vanilla, chocolate chips, & powder sugar I would go to Costco, Sam's or a similar warehouse store. For fondant and gumpaste, try a local cake supply store or an online store.

Restaurant supply stores like Cash & Carry, costco and other warehouse stores are the best bets. Some people like Sam's club, but I won't shop at Walmart stores.

Well, I will try Sams Club (like Costco), didn't even think about that and I am a member-lol. I was just wondering if anyone went through somewhere that they delivered to you.

I buy sugar, flour, butter, etc. from Costco or Sam's Club.

As far as fondant goes, www.caljavaonline.com, www.cakedeco.com, www.cakesbysam.com

For hi ratio shortening, meringue powder and others- try www.countrykitchenusa.com
