I got a request to make a cake for a soy candle party (home party company similar to pampered chef, etc). I'm having trouble coming up with ideas for a creative, candle-themed cake. Any suggestions?

How many people will be attending? You could bake some cakes in soup and tuna cans to look like candles.

it's also possible to stack a whole bunch of same size tiers (think like making a tiered wedding cake except all the tiers are the same size round)

if did this w/ say 6 or 8 inch rounds and did it equiv of 3 tiers high (that-d be about 12 inches) -- it'd look like a big pillar candle.

could even hollow out three little holes in top just big enough to accept tea light candles in GLASS holders and then light them so it'd look like a real pillar candle.

Thanks for the replies. I'm not sure how many it will need to serve. Thanks for giving me some good starting ideas icon_smile.gif
