I am making a groom's cake in a 12 by 3 inch round cake pan. I can't find the insert that came with the pan, so, does anyone have any idea how many people this cake will feed?

My Wilton Yearbook says:

12 in round - 3 in high serves 40 party servings and 56 wedding servings.

The difference is the size of the slices. Party slices are typically considered to be 2"x2". Wedding slices are smaller - around 1"x2"
