Has anyone tried this recipe yet?? I've looked up some of the posts and haven't gotten a feel for it yet as to whether or not it is a good recipe. I need to make it for Friday nite and am unsure as to it's texture and moistness. I will be using bc white cake mix (with pudding added in the box mix) so will the cake be moist???? My cakes are ALWAYS moist using this brand, so I'm wondering if the bc would help the cc recipe.
Any suggestions and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know about that recipe for carrot cake but I have one that has got to be the most delicious carrot cake I have ever eaten. I brought it to work and had people calling me on my extension to tell me how much they liked it and how moist it was. It's the recipe for the 2 carrot cakes that are in my photos. I actually have tried the Cake Mix Doctor's Carrot Cake recipe. I would rate it just okay. I really like most of her recipes. We did a taste test in our family between a scratch carrot cake and the cake mix doctor cake-- without telling which one was which. Everyone picked the scratch. Good luck!

oops Bodaisy- i lied. i just remembered that the carrot cake recipe from a mix that i made and didn't like wasn't cake mix doctor-- it was an actual carrot cake -cake mix-- maybe duncan hines? anyway, didn't want to put down cake mix doctor's recipe without actually having tried it!! let us know if its actually good!

I made three cakes from the cmd carrot cake recipe over Christmas and they were all LOVED! I used french vanilla cake mix instead of yellow and I made plain cream cheese icing instead of the orange.
