Cake Balls How Dry

cake ball how dry should they get. Mine hold their shape put never get to dry. If you bite in to them they are still very soft. Is that how they should be. Help

When I made them, they stayed extremely moist inside.

mine were really moist inside too.......like someone ate a piece of cake, chewed it up and spit it out in the shape of a ball..........I didn't care for them at all....and believe me, I'm really NOT picky when it comes to sweets.......I only made them the one time though....next time I'm gonna go easier on the liquid.
