Am making a sheet cake for a benefit for 2 firefighters in need secondary to some serious health problems. I plan on making a sheet cake and want to score it with some sort of firefighting emblems or anything to make it seem of the firemen. Any ideas? Something easy yet cool??

Did you look in the gallery at the fire cakes? There really are some neat ones. Have you ever tried FBCT - I haven't yet but I have used piping gel to do the fire cakes I did with some coloring book type emblems. Maybe a maltese or the dept. logo? Hope this is some help.

There are a lot of nice ones in the gallery. Try a gallery search for "fire" and many will come up. Some things that stick in my mind is one that used firehoses for a border and others that used flames.

How about some firefighter candy molds attached to the sides of the cake? I've got a really cool firefighter candy mold and it has the hat, the emblem, the fire truck, etc.
