do i need to use a special pan? I have these huge pans that fit into a convection oven at work.. i can bake with that right? lol..i feel kinda dumb asking this..but im curious.. i need to make the cake really thick though... actually n0o im gonna do a 2 layer cake... so i guess not lol... im just typing away today... agh i gotta run...

Most people use a square or rectangle shaped pan for sheet cakes, so your pans at work will probably work.
