I want 2 make a cake for 2 people .my niece is turning 9 she loves whales and dolphins. My mother inlaw loves swimming. So, I thought how about water on the top with pool floats and beach balls and whales and dolphins. And shells for the border.Does that sound silly to you? I also, have NO idea on how to make whales or dolphins I'm sure there must be someone that does. But, you would have to show me pictures step by step if you have any pics of that it would help out so much .I have to have the cake done by next weekend Thank you for taking the time to read Dyna

I would actually do it like a beach cake. Here's the link to beach cake...

Then you could have the whales/dolphins jumping out of the ocean. HTH some, Jen

Here is a link to a cake where the person made the whale jumping out of water. Scroll down to the bottom of the page for the whale directions...

I did a beach scene cake with Dolphins jumping out of the water. I made them from color flow. It's at the bottom of my photo page. If you Google Dolphin Coloring pages (and Whale coloring pages), you'll get a lot you could use to go by. FCBT or Chocolate Transfers would work for the animals just as well.
