Ok so I looked up the chocolate ganache recipe on here and it says that I need one ounce of sugar. Is that right?

The recipe I use is 1/2 cup cream and 400g chocolate. It doesn't need any extra sweetening.

I used the recipe from here last week with the little sugar in it, it came out fine. Yummo.

the ganache recipe I use only uses cream and choc no sugar. I guess really the only thing it would do is make it sweeter again, maybe just think about how sweet you really need it to be. Hope that helps.

I added sugar to the recipe because I used a good bittersweet chocolate and added that little sugar (1oz=2tblsp) because it just took the bitter off for the kids. I've also added it to semisweet and it's fine
