I have a request for a cake trimmed with lavender. Can I just use the Wilton cake colors and mix a little red/blue until I get the right shade? I have yet to see around here a Wilton color for lavender or purple. Any advise would be appreciated.

(Yes, I am a blonde)

Wilton does make a violet shade - if you just add a little you should be ok.

lavender is one of my favorite colors....in fact I am wearing it now, its my jammies, but when I do frosting, and want that color I start off really really light almost have to cock your head to see the color and go from there.... thats just me I know people who are brave and put alot to start with.
