I want to make some fondant molds just to have a backup decorations if I ever need some. How long will fondant molds last? Do they store well at room temperature or should they be stored in containers?

Just curious b/c I wanted to try out some of the molds that I have but never used them yet.

once you make them let them dry overnight then store them in a container.

How long can they be stored. Up to a week, month, 6 months, etc?

Also, where online can I get some molds that are shaped like food or a dinner plate or fork and knife?

Yes just for decoration! I will definitely check out sugarcraft. I forgot all about this website. They do have everything.

Thanks Diane!

You can also use chocolate molds, clay molds and playdough molds. Don't limit yourself! It's amazing what is out there to be found!
