I have heard on this site that many add a box of pudding in the mix to make the cake moist. Now is it really just adding a box? Is it that simple? Instant or not pudding? TIA.

yes, you want instant...just add a box of the powdered instant pudding mix of the same or a complimentary flavor to your cake mix, and make as usual.........I normally add an extra egg (adds richness) and swap out the water for milk.......milk is a tenderizer and makes the cake more moist in my opinion

Just to make sure I understand, You dont make the pudding, then add it. You only add the powdered puding mix? usaribbon.gif
