AFTER THE CANDY MELTS COME OUT OF THE FREEZER HAS ANYONE USED THE MARKERS ON THE CANDY FOR COLOR? DOES LUSTER DUST WORK THE BEST? IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THE MARKERS ACTUALLY WORK? I DON'T KNOW. I AM SORRY FOR SO MANY QUESTIONS. I AM NEW TO ALL OF THIS CANDY STUFF!

I have never been able to get edible markers to write on chocolate. I have heard others say they will write on choc but it didn't work for me.

I've used luster and it works great...sometimes takes a few coats.

I just recently learned that you can also use Americolor paste and mix it with some cornstarch and paint your color on. They mixed white Americolor to the color you want (let's say purple). Get close to the color you want and then pick up some cornstarch with your paint. Rub it back and forth on a paper towel to get it all mixed in and then paint away. I saw it done on chocolate lollipops and the did the "One Stroke" paint method to make roses. Very cool.
