I'm doing a chinese wedding cake and the bottom tier is going to be a 12 inch dummy covered in red fondant with a gold pheonix and dragon on it. She wants to keep it in a display case after the wedding and I don't want the red fondant to fade. I'm using a mmf and was thinking of putting a modpodge sealer (like white glue) over it to help preserve it. What do you think? Has anyone done this type of thing before? Please help.
