Ok another question I'm sure has been asked one thousand times what is the differance between the two?

No idea I thought they were the same.

I think luster dust has a sheen to it, more of a sparkle. Petal dust is just a flat color.

I was actually at our local awesome cake store today to get some luster and pearl dust and I noticed the difference right away. Petal dust had no sparkle or sheen to it at all. It was a solid color. Luster/pearl dust has a sparkle to it but still comes in solid colors.
