I'm thinking of trying this.....does the MMF "bubble" at all if you put it on the cookie when it's warm? Also how is it in regard to cookie icing, I am not a fan of MMF but assume it's just as sweet. ??

I haven't had cookie icing so I can't compare. However, the mmf is sweet. It is soft when you bite into the cookie. It is not hard like royal.

Y'all are making me drool over the thought of these cookies! If I wasn't holding my 1-year old daughter who's sick with a stomach virus right now, I'd be in the kitchen baking some NFSC with MMF!!! Sounds so delicious!

I think the MMF was a wonderful compliment to the cookie - the cookie had 2 textures - crunchy (cookie) and soft (MMF). Although MMF is awfully sweet on it's own, it was wonderful with the cookie - it really didn't seem all that sweet.
