Good morning!

I am in need of some help. I am making a cake that my client is wanting
a) whipped icing (the kind that the grocery bakers use) and need that recipe and ....
b) she wants a fondant rocket on it.

Are all these possible to do? Does the whip cream hold up well with a fondant applique?

any help would be greatly appreciated.... I am a novice and want to make a pretty cake for her.

thank you in advanced,
shinerjax

I'd be a little worried about placing fondant on the side of whipped cream icing. It ought to be OK on the top. We are talking a plaque-type thing, yes? If it's 3D, I'd be worried that the whipped cream wouldn't be able to grip the thing well enough to ensure it would stay put.

i thought possibly on the sides.... but just don't know. They arent too big on the buttercream... too sweet for them, and like i said that i'm a novice and trying to make it look pretty.
