I found some pictures on line that I would like to use as inspiration. How do I make these little tiny flowers?

http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://keepsakecandy.com/images/elegantlacecookie.gif&imgrefurl=http://keepsakecandy.com/weddingcookies.htm&h=280&w=300&sz=69&hl=en&start=17&um=1&tbnid=eDp3pSLzlz65UM:&tbnh=108&tbnw=116&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dwedding%2Bcookies%26svnum%3D10%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN

I see that there are witon tubes with an "s" after the number, I'm assuming for "small". Do I need to buy these?

You could make them out of fondant using a tiny blossom plunger cutter. Here's an example of some I did.

The little rose buds on those cookies were probably made with the 59s tip. It's the smallest rose tip.

You can buy silicone rose molds from Sugarcraft that make roses as small as 6/16". All you do is push the fondant into the mold and pop it out. You can adhere them with a little royal icing and pipe on a couple of very small leaves. I tried to paste a picture of the mold in this message, but it didn't work. Go to www.sugarcraft.com and go to rose cutters under fondant. Scroll down until you see the silicone molds. I have some of the larger ones and they makevery pretty roses. Hope this helps.

I've never seen a 59s, just a 59 degree. But I have used the 101s, that's a really small rose tip and that will work. They are very fast to make.
