I want to make an easter basket cake, and I need to find a good way to make grass (NO GREEN TINTED COCONUT, I'm allergic!).

Please help!

How about thro' a garlic press - haven't tried it but hear it works. For fondant I have a potato ricer that works just great. But I do like the multi grass tip for BC, and for hair too.

You can use a star tip. Doesn't look as much like grass but it would definitely work.

any round tip - like a #5 and a LOT of patience! One piece of grass at a time, LOL! I am guessing you are just talking BC?

If it's iced, not crusted yet, you could use a comb. Put the teeth of the comb to the frosting and quickly lift up. It should create little rows of grass but not very long and not very 'up'.
Could work depending on how much grass you need.

Take two pastry bags(Throw away) and make a couple of holes. Just squeeze and you'll have grass.

I used a pointed spatula with semi-soft icing and just lifted up on the icing. Worked pretty good.
