we took our two small children to the USS Yorktown in Charleston, SC today, I saw this recipe for how to make 10.000 chocolate chip cookies while doing a tour through the ships bakery. I wonder how long it would take to make a batch of cookies this large... . I just thought it was an interesting piece of history, and wanted to share one of the ships bakery's recipes.

I saw uge recipes like that on the USS Alabama too! I found that part of the ship very interesting. They always seemed to have a dessert on their menus everyday.

The coolest mixer I ever saw was when I was little...it was located in a high school kitchen and it was huge...it was a stand mixer that was soooo large it was situated on the floor...it was sooo cool...so I could definetely see this recipe being real!
