I just bought a set of Pyrex bowls, and was wondering if you can really bake in them? If so, is there a special temp. to set them too? Is there a certain time frame to have them in the oven, or can they be used like regular cake pans? etc...I'm totally clueless to this.

If they're the same as British pyrex dishes you can certainly bake in them. You just treat them exactly the same as any other cake tin

I have used them tons of times.....I just use them as I would any other pan don't fill more than half way and test it for doneness after a while...I've made baked beans and other things right in them too, and never a problem

I love my pyrex baking dishes. You can bake cakes and any other thing you can imagine in them. I usually bake cakes at 325, but you can bake them at 350. You just have to experiment with times, and don't fill too full. I do mine at 1/2 to 2/3 full. thumbs_up.gif
