I have a bride who wants these cupcakes for her wedding..Just a few questions for anyone who has done these.

1. How full should I fill the batter ? I am doing a thin coat of BC under the fondant but I want the cupcake to be right at the rim when finished.

2. Has anyone seen this texture roller and where could I buy one?

The cupcake is one designed by Kylie Lambert from Australia

Thanks Laurel

I can't answer any of your questions, but I can see the picture just fine. Those cupcakes are lovely.

Those are nice!! I haven't seen the roller..

Measure the batter meticulously...use a piping bag and tip to get a thin layer of icing without the mess....

There was post awhile on embossed cookies http://forum.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=107561&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=0

The look of those cupcakes reminded me of that thread. To make your cupcakes that small, I would try only filling the cup half way.

Very pretty cupcakes. My thinking on the "how much" would be to fill it half way. Cause when I fill them 3/4th full, I just a slight rise above the rim. Just a though=) Jen

When I want my cupcakes to fill like that, I use the Medium scoop (like for cookies) from Pampered Chef, that way I know they are all the same.

Those are very pretty!

I would also say about half way, maybe just a little more. Also, maybe you can e-mail Kylie about where she got the roller? I haven't seen one like it, but you maybe able to find another one close or that the bride likes here...

Okay, now I see it! Guess my computer is weird.

I haven't seen a roller with that specific design, so I can't help you there. I agree with filling them about half full so they won't rise to the top, unless you have a recipe that doesn't rise much, then you might want a little more batter in there.

Sorry I'm not much help, but I can't wait to see what you come up with!
