Check out my photo's, I done a family tree cake for our family reunion last year and it was a big hit. I got the idea from a Wilton Yearbook, I believe it was the 2006 yearbook. The only thing I done different was I added a fence, and 2 rocking chairs and the members of the family who died are the cookies which fell from the tree. Mamaw & Papaw are the 2 cookies sitting in the rocking chairs. Hope this is some help to you.

I went to the gallery and searched for "Family tree". There are like 85 responses. Some of them don't apply (Fat Albert or Christmas trees) But there are some really cute ones!

I have a family tree cake in my photos, also. It's not actually shaped like a tree--it just has a tree on it, but it might give you some ideas.

Do a gallery search for "tree" and you should get quite a few cakes to look at.

Ellie-Your tree cake is awesome! A lot of love went into that cake.

Thank you so much Holly. My husband's family was quite impressed. Some of the older members actually cried which was all the blessing I could ask for.

Are there any modules out there to display data in a format similar to the way a family tree gets displayed?

I use eFamilyTree to embed Family Trees into my family history blog.
