Chocolate transfers are faster- ready in minutes. BCT need to frozen at least 90 minutes- overnight is better.

Buttercream glaze is ready is seconds.

Chocolate is fast, but a bit tricky to use. Get colormelts if you have to do chocolate so you don't have to mess around with tempering the chocolate first.

Or you could try doing a piping gel transfer. Just get a copy of the image (reverse it if the direction will matter), cover it with wax paper and trace the outline with clear piping gel. Then flip the wax paper over onto the cake and press gently to transfer the image. Go over the gel with the colors you want to outline it with and then fill it in with stars or other shapes you like.

Best of luck!
