Yes, most were covered in fondant. I will do some in Royal icing soon, i baked a mountain of cookies, but didnt get to decorate even half of them. It is very time consuming : )

Wow! Your cookies are top-of-the-line IMO. You have a gorgeous gallery of photos posted and I'm sure everything is even more elite in person. Your idea for having a day to decorate cookies with a friend sounds like fun. I might have to try that one day soon.

Your cookies are beautiful..that's what I meant about using Fondant as icing..they come out very beautiful and you can do almost anything with it. 
I also use Fondant to ice my cookies...you can never go wrong with it..NO waiting, NO mixing, NO piping and NO mess.. the texture is perfect and very smooth, and the edeges are sharp and clean. Very nice.. good job ...[/b]
