I would like to make some large cookies and cover them with MMF and use royal icing for the small details (i.e. drop flowers, writing)
If I package them in cellophane bag tied with ribbon, will the royal icing be affected at all by the mmf??
Also, about how long will I be able to keep them in the bags before the date I need them for??
Sorry if this sound funny, but I don't want to find out when I'm about to give them out! icon_redface.gif
And I don't think I have enough time to try one before I actually need to make them. Thanks!! icon_smile.gif

I think that Cookieman will be the best person to answer this because he does alot of cookies with fondant on them. I would think that because there isn't a whole lot of moisture in the MM fondant and it really isn't greasy that you should be just fine. I packaged Royal icing covered cookies 2 weeks ago and just ate one yesterday and it was still yummy!

Well, I have done that before with just royal and they were fine, but I just want to make sure that the mmf won't make too much of a difference.
Thanks! icon_smile.gif
