i just made my icing and it tasted sour do you think is because the cremor tartar,because i went to the store and i bought a new cremor tartar and tastes the same as my old one.I thought that the cremor tartar it was old.have you ever tastes the icig,can you tell me if tastes the same as mine???? icon_cry.gif

It's "cream of tartar"...did you get the right ingredient? It is a very very sweet icing and should not have any sour taste at all.

Are you using the right amount, 1 tsp (teaspoon) per recipe?

THANK YOU ANTONIA FOR ANSWERME,YES IS CREAM OF TARTAR BUT DOSEN'T TASTES VERY SWWET IT TASTES SOUR I DON'T KNOW WHY??? AND YES I PUT I TEASPOON.
