First I must say that your cookies are really beautiful!
Thanks for doing the tutorial, I can't wait to try your tips.

I just wanted to ask what cookie dough recipe you use for those light brown cookies? My sugar cookie recipe is so white looking, I love the deeper color edges sticking out of your cookies under the royal icing.

If you don't mind, would you share the recipe?

Thanks.

It's the No-Fail Cookie Dough. The recipe is posted on this site, as well as at www.kitchengifts.com

Thank you. I was wondering if that's what you used.
I just looked at the recipe and wonder what makes them so brown? Do you use brown sugar instead of white sugar?

Your cookies are so original and just beautiful! You are an inspiration!
