HERE ARE THE CAKES.. THEY ARE UNDER MY PHOTOS.. I MADE THEM FOR MY NEIGHBORS . I CANT WAIT TO SEE HOW THEY LIKE THEM!!!
Your cakes are very cute. I like the idea that you had.
Are all the cakes 1 layer and did you have to refrigerate your pudding.
Wow, alot of work for one day! I bet they were happy to see you coming over.
thak you all for your comments!!! you mean gift wriapping paper? where do i get contact paper at?
Thought I would answer here instead of the pic.
You should be able to get contact paper at Walmart, Target, or an discount store, maybe even your grocery store if you are in a pinch. What I've done, as well as others, is to cover the board with the gift wrap of your choice (there are soo many out there) and then cover the gift wrap with the clear contact paper. I liked it alot and it was pretty cut resistant. I've also used tin foil, waxed paper, parchment paper, and freezer paper (shiny side up).
Hope this helps!
They look so spring-time! How wonderful!!
Hi, Mom. I liked the cakes. The colors that you picked were a great match for this time of year!! Like some otheres have said, a little smoothing can go a long way fro the presentation of your cakes. But I know how it is when you are doing so much that you simply forget a step. Other than that I think you did a fine job. And I know that you will be getting customers in no time flat!!
