I just went through my Tivo using the Wishlist keyword search for cakes ( which I do weekly or less) and found some shows some of you might be interested in. All times are Central Standard. Tivo rocks!

2/11 Sara's Secrets(7am)--Food Network-Chocolate Desserts (cake)
2/11 Essence of Emeril (8am)--Food Network- Chocolate
2/11 Seasonings with Dede Wilson (8am) PBS ( MIGHT BE LOCAL) Valentine's cakes
2/11 Seasonings with Dede Wilson (9am)--PBS (Might be local) Wedding Cakes featuring Italian Merinque Buttercream and White cakes
2/14 DIY Cooking (11:30am)--DIY Network-Batters and doughs

I'm not sure if the Seasonings with DeDe Wilson is a local show or not but it's on a PBS station locally for me. The 9am show sounds like a winner.

Just thought some of the shows might interest others as they interest me. I'm always doing Keyword searches for "Cakes" and "Cookies" and even "Cupcakes" but have yet to find cupcake shows. Tivo just makes it easy to find shows you want to see and tape them or remind you to watch, which is good because I'm super forgettful. LOL!

Also be forewarned that this isn't a complete list for this week, but just the shows I actually set up to record. There might be more shows that I missed. If anyone is interested in this in coming weeks, let me know and I will post some shows.

Wow! Thanks for the tip off on the shows. Have to go set the VCR (yeah, slow poke on the technology, but it still works.)

Thanks for the TIVO scoop! I appreciate the heads-up on the upcoming shows. After a quick check online I tracked most of the shows down on my system.

I can never get enough of those cake decorating shows and competitions!

I've never actually watched any of those shows, but a friend told me she's seen a few that were really good that I might be interested in. I couldn't find them via tivo though. Thanks for the heads up on the "cake" key word. Never would have thought to use that one. Seems pretty obvious though now that I think about it

Did anyone catch today's Epicurious? You should have, lol! It was a spot with Colette Peters and she demonstrated the whimsical/crooked cake in two layers. Was a super easy design but of course, she always makes it look easy.

What a bummer ~ Seasonings with Dede Wilson isn't shown on the Houston area PBS station. POO!

If someone wants to record this and burn it to a DVD for me, I'll pay for the shipping and the media! Yes, that is legal, BTW.

VERY LONG...Lots of info this time because most are not cake decorating shows but have cakes featured in someway. You will have to look at the network and determine your show times, but here ya go. Enjoy.
