If you can hold out on your other one for about a month, you can usually find them on sale right before Mother's Day. I found mine at Linen's & Things on sale.

I got mine from the KitchenAid store on ebay for $279(incl. s/h). It's refurbished, but it's in great condition and came with a six month warranty.

I ordered a brand new one last October from Amazon.com for $284 with free shipping. I notice that Amazon frequently puts KitchenAid appliances on sale.

As of last week I saw them at acehardwareoutlet.com for $310 ($340, minus a $30 rebate) and free shipping. These were brand new, not refurbished.

I just bought one yesterday at Kohls. It was on sale for $399.99 and I had a 20% off coupon which knocked it down to $320 and then I downloaded the $30.00 rebate off of Kitchenaid.com, which knocks it down to $290.00. With the rebate you get a 1 year subscription to both Food & Wine and Leisure magazines. It says on the mail-in rebate if you do not wish to receive one or either of the magazines you can get a refund of $12 for each magazine. So if you take the refund instead of the magazines then that is another $24 off which takes it down to $266. I thought it was a great deal!!

Luraleigh, you really got a good deal. I think Kohls have a lot of great specials. I hope they still have them when I go to Los Angeles as I would like to buy one for my daugther. While we are on the subject of mixers, can anyone tell me where I can buy another bowl for my 5qt. Professional? One bowl is not enough.

June,

You can order extra bowls at www.kitchenaid.com. You can order the mixers online at www.kohls.com. The nearest Kohls is 45 minutes away, I'm afraid if it were any closer I would be there all the time! They have great deals all the time!!
