I had the same problem last night for awhile.

I had a little problem, very slowly, but It finally went over to the galleries.

It helps me to press the "Shift" button while I'm clicking on a link. You can do this for going to the gallery or to view pictures or whatever. Essentially, the only thing this does is open the link in a a new Internet Explorer window, however, I noticed it opens the link faster than just clicking on the link and trying to open it in the same window. Not sure if that made sense....

I've had problems with the gallery for quite some time now. It's an intermittent thing. Like right now, I can't bring up a picture. It will time out.
