I'm making an 11 x 15 sheet cake with the half soccer ball on top for
a birthday this next Friday. I am not sure what is a fair price for this cake.
I was thinking $45.00. Is that too low?? I don't think I should charge any less because it is a stacked cake and will be quite a bit of work.
Any comments are greatly appreciated..

Cindy

i also have a pricing question.

I am making a cinderella cake. It is going to be 10" round, 8" round and a small doll cake (using 1.5 quart pyrex bowl) stacked. Frosted in BC w/ fondant accents, edible pearls and luster dust. This is for family so I am giving a discount.

I charge $30 for the 11 by 15 cake. and that is with few decorations. if you are putting a ball on top of that i think $45-$50 would be just about right. hope this helps...

Thanks ddog...I think the sheet will be the easiest part. All those darn stars on that soccer ball are going to be a real PAIN!!! Ouchie on my wrist and hand!!! I appreciate your input. She is not worried about the cost, but I don"t want her to think I am trying to gouge her either. I am finally getting my cake orders going and am really excited. After one or 2 cakes here and there, I have 8 orders already lined up for next month. Yippee!!
