This is my first tiered cake. I made a 12" strawberry and a 10" chocolate with whipped icing and real strawberries for my daughters 5th birthday. I am so happy with it and I got a cake order out of it. Tell me what you think. By the way, tamrees did this cake first, so thank you to her for doing it and sharing.

Thanks to all of you. I was so excited to get this cake done. it took me eight hours to complete it and I just cant stop smiling about it. It just shows me that I can do more if I just try and thanks to all here at CC who answer questions and give advice. I couldnt have done it with out you.

You did a fantastic job! That is one of my most favorite cakes that I have done.

I did a train cake several years ago before I knew about 3D pans. I used a mini loaf pan and made an entire train set going around a track made of pretzel sticks. I frosted the train blue like Thomas and used different candys for cargo in the train cars. It was alot of fun. I wish I had a picture to explain it better.

I cant wait to try the thomas cake. i am really excited, and i will post as soon as i am finished. the only thing is i dont know when it is needed. she asked me what i would charge and i said i was not sure cause i have only done cakes for family for free and she said for me to think about it and she would call me when it was closer. what do yall think? i was thinking a train done from the 3D pan on top of a half sheet made to look like train tracks.
