How much gum tragacanth do I need to add to sugarpaste (fondant) to make modelling / gumpaste?

I bought a 200g packet of mexican modelling paste, but I don't think it's going to be enough for the figures I'm planning to make, so if I want to make another 200g batch of modelling paste from my standard fondant (also just got a 5kg box of Regalice - haven't tried it yet, hope it tastes OK!), how much Gum Trag should I add to the fondant/sugarpaste?

TIA

Kelly

I don't use Trag. but have used Tylose. I used about 1/2 teaspoon to a ball of fondant about the size of a baseball.

Gum trag has a yellow colour and a (IMO) foul odour, best to use tylose in fondant.
