I know there aren't very many people on today, so I may have to bump it up on Monday, but is there anybody out there that has ever sculpted a cheesecake? I have somebody requesting an armadillo groom's cake ala "Steel Magnolias" but he wants it out of cheesecake. Any input?
Well that sounds interesting....I don't know why you couldn't use cheesecake like a molding clay???
Bake it and then use it to form what you want...would it be too messy?? Would it hold together?? Why not make a small one and try it??
I'm not clever..maybe someone has already done it....
If the cheesecake is nice and cold or even slightly frozen, you should be able to scuplt it without too much trouble. When I just put my cheesecakes in the fridge overnight, they firm up real good!
That is what I was thinking Mrs. M....
BTW..great minds thinking alike again!!
..yeah, I think if you were just to make a regular cheesecake in a springform pan and then sculpt it...it would work out just fine! ..and then you get to eat/keep the scraps!!
