Wow I LOVE IT!!! The painting is great! You have a wonderful talent, and now that you have done it once the possibilities are endless! I am so jealous, I wish I had an ounce of artistic ability.

where do you generally buy rice paper? the grocery store?

I've been wanting to try painting on my cake as well...just haven't gotten the courage to do a full blown cake...I'm going to have to give it a try soon! You've inspired me!! It's beautiful and delicate looking.

Your cake is amazing, as are the others you have done. I noticed you "paint" a bit on your cakes, and it looks great. What are you "painting" with?

Hi Bulldog! I actually just use gel colors, then thin them out with vanilla extract! Another method that works really well is to use petal dust, then thin out with an extract or alcohol!

Hi Crouton! I attached a dowel rod with royal icing to her back and then inserted the dowel into the cake!
