I just use a regular crusting buttercream recipe and add between 3/4 to 1 cup of cocoa powder. Depending on how chocolaty I want it.

I use regular buttercream frosting and add Ghiardellis sweet ground chocolate and some light xorn syrup because the chocolate will make your frosting thicker but the Ghiardellis leaves little specks of chocolate and it is absolutelly delicious!!
