Hi all,

I am making a chocolate mud cake with orange flavouring and I would like to have a filing in the same, I usually do a choc mousse but this particular cake will be on display all day and the weather will be hot and the mousse may spoil. Does anyone have any ideas of what other filling I can use that will not spoil and complement a choc orange mud cake. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thank You

Have you ever considered you an orange marmalade or preserves filling. Those would hold up, but i am not sure if that would be too much orange for the cake, i have never had one..

Yes I did actually think about it but my concern is that it may be too sweet.
