Please someone tell me why my royal icing lilies are looking like they are broken at the tip. I used 2lbs of conf. sugar and 1/2 cup of meringue with 1/2 cup of water but had to use another 4 tbsp. and soemthing just is not right. Please someone help me. Email me at [email protected]
It's hard to get that old leaf tip to make a pointed end on your petals. The trick I've learned is just after I've piped all my petals i go back with slightly damp fingers and "pinch" the end of each petal between my thumb and forefinger to make it a point!! Works everytime!!
