Hi everyone!

I recently started making and selling cakes and I have been buying boxes at Joann Fabrics. I looked at some websites but they all seem confusing and I'm not sure if the boxes are flimsy.

Where do you purchase boxes??

I have to have a lid that can be taken off completely because most of my cakes are 2-3 tiers and need to be taped.

Thanks everyone!!!  :)

for regular cake boxes, www.brpboxshop.com.

For bigger boxes to hold tiered cakes, your local office supplies store.  Staples, Office Depot, etc.

I actually have a local company who sells bulk paper goods (paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) nearby that I called. I bought 19x14x4 and 14x10x4 boxes from them at a STEAL compared to what I was picking them up for at Hobby Lobby and Wal*Mart. I ended up paying around a dollar a box for them and they are actually a better quality box than what I had been buying. (Good for sheet cakes, of course.) But they can probably give you good prices on other sizes of boxes too.  It might be worth it to make some phone calls and see what you can find locally.
