AHey all! I am wondering if you have come cross a meringue powder that is nut free and tastes good for royal icing. CK and wilton are not safe, and americolor's meringue always was but I can't find it anywhere.

And if you don't know of meringue powder, do you know how to make royal icing without using meringue powder or egg whites?

Both of the following websites have egg free royal icing recipes that use neither egg whites nor meringue powder... Not sure how they taste or if they work though...
