Hello everyone,
I am in the middle of making up a contract and I wanted to ask you lovely people for pointers.
I am including a space to add these details:
- Order code
- Client name and contact details
- Event date
- Event start time
- Cake delivery/pick up time
- Number of guests
- Venue information (name, address, contact details)
- Cake order details
- Size of cake
- Colour scheme (palette?)
- Flavours
Some sort of jargon about 50% deposit paid will confirm and hold reservation. Deposit refundable 30+ days prior to event. Cancellations need to be in writing. Final payment needs to be made by 2 weeks before the event date. Late payment fee? Late payments may result in substitutions or modifications to the original design. I *company name* reserve right to exercise right to guarantee structural and visual integrity. (I'm having nightmares of people providing home made stands)
Another space to add these details:
- Cake cost
- Delivery cost
- Total cost:
- Deposit cost and due on
- Final payment cost and due on
Space for:
- Client's name
- Client's signature
- Date
Does this sound good? Should I do this for smaller orders or is that overkill?
Also should I keep invoices? I'm tempted to buy an invoice book tomorrow and keep that for smaller orders in the mean time and making up a pdf invoice for larger orders.
Also the bit in bold I am unsure about.
Thank-you in advance!
I'm also feeling really dim at the moment but I had a look at the stickies in this forum where people have their cake price guides set up and while I have opened the thread I can't see where to have a look at the guides.
