I just made the frosting and contemplating if I should take the risk and color it?  Its for a 1st birthday and coloring them blue would make them extra cute. I have electric blue. They're currently a med to light brown shade...what could would come out if I added blue?

If you really want blue Nutella frosting, take a small amount of the frosting and stir in a small amount of coloring. Then decide if you want to color the rest.

good idea to test a small amount -- it will look like a smoky blue depending on how much blue you add -- could be real pretty -- don't be afraid to add the color but yes add it in small increments till you see what you're getting -- and i'm curious as to what you will decide...

Thanks for the reply...since the order was going out in an hour I chickened out and just added blue/green/yellow (theme colors) sugar on top:
