So I'll be doing a 200 cake pop display for a family's wedding and wondering what is the cheapest way to make something like the clear acrylic stands seen on etsy?  I have a trusted handyman I can us to do the actual work but how do I figure out the dimensions/spacing etc?  Is it eas easy as purchasing acrylic sheets from the home renovation store, drill proper holes and thats it? Has anyone made on thats acrylic?

ACan you post a picture of what you want to DIY? Acrylic is easy to cut/drill with the right tools. Just make sure it's heavy and wide enough not to fall over, because the cake pops are rather top heavy. Don't know the wedding theme, but if the bride hasn't specifically requested those stands, you could also use nice round or squared glass vases and fill them with...f.e. Colored or clear acrylic decorating crystals, sand, shells, sugar, marbles...and stick the pops in sort of like bouquets... Just a thought
