I am kitchen manager for a restaurant, and have made a 4 tier cake for their anniversary party. I asked my very talented friend to do the chocolate models for the cake.
I have been asked to present the cake as my own "line" by the owners, but I need to know how to properly credit my friend for her models? Do I use the same placard? What is appropriate here? This is an absolute first time situation for me!
thanks in advance!
How is "credit" being given? Magazine article? More hurt feelings by the bigger the missed "exposure".
If it is just a card in front of a cake being served, I would write:
Cake designed and made by You Girly, kitchen manager of ABC Restaurant
with special thanks to Friend Modeler for chocolate models
substituting appropriate names. I imagine this is advertising for "ABC restaurant" so they certainly want their restaurant and staff featured.
*** edit--- alignment goofy when posted, but top line in larger font with your name and restaurant position, and smaller font lower line with special thanks...
